All three picks are in Wailea, the sunny south shore known for beachfront resorts and golf. Kihei, next door, is the side with condos and long sandy beaches. Kihei Akahi C-513 is the best value: a one-bedroom apartment at $1,800 for the stay, $257 a night, with a 9 review score, though from just 1 review. Its $284 resort fee is already in our total. Aston at the Maui Banyan is the budget pick at $2,016 for the stay, $288 a night, rated 7.9 from 255 reviews, and it lists $318 in fees at the property. Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui is the top rated: a 5-star suite at $7,375 for the stay, $1,054 a night, rated 9.1 from 110 reviews, plus $1,162 in fees at the property.
