Referral links: how this site earns
Last updated:
Paid links: when you book through a link on this site, the booking site pays us a referral fee. Your price does not change. We never accept payment for a pick.
How it works
Links to flights, hotels, tours and rental cars on our pages are short redirect links on our own domain. When you book through one, the booking site or its referral network pays VacayMatch a fee. The fee does not change your price, and it does not change the order of anything on the page: picks are chosen by price against the route's history, nonstop flights, weather and season, never by what a site pays. The cheapest option is shown even when it pays us nothing.
This is the disclosure the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides ask for, and you will find a one-line version next to every group of links on a trip page.
Who pays
Booking sites and their referral networks, today Stay22, Admitad and GetYourGuide and other referral networks we join (this list is kept current), on behalf of airlines, hotels, booking sites and tour sellers. The network receives the link's id so the booking can be matched to the link; it does not receive your name, email or phone number from us.
What stays the same
- You book on the airline's, hotel's or booking site's own page, under its terms and at its price.
- VacayMatch does not sell, does not take payments and does not book for you.
- Readers who skip the links get exactly the same pages.
