Worth it from Tel Aviv this week, from $132

Flying from Tel Aviv means Ben Gurion (TLV), the one airport for the metro. Close enough for a long weekend: Cairo & the Nile at 253 miles, Cappadocia at 453, and the Greek islands of Crete, Santorini and Mykonos between 597 and 651 miles. Longer trips head into Europe, and the lowest fares we found were all nonstop: $124 to Rome, $172 to Athens, $180 to Sicily and $205 to Budapest. Venice came in at $252, but it needs a stop. These are the fares we found when we checked, and they can change.
