All three picks are in Wailea, the sunny south shore known for beachfront resorts and golf. Kihei, next door, is the side with holiday flats and long sandy beaches. Kihei Akahi C-513 is the best value: a one-bedroom apartment at $1,800 for the stay, $257 a night, with a 9 review score, though from just 1 review. Its $284 resort fee is already in our total. Aston at the Maui Banyan is the budget pick at $2,016 for the stay, $288 a night, rated 7.9 from 255 reviews, and it lists $318 in fees payable at the property. Fairmont Kea Lani, Maui is the top rated: a 5-star suite at $7,375 for the stay, $1,054 a night, rated 9.1 from 110 reviews, plus $1,162 in fees payable at the property.
