We priced three places. Solana Downtown - Cozumel is the best value and the one in the total: $248 for the 7 nights ($35 a night) for a ground-floor apartment. It's room only, rated 8.5 from 632 reviews, with free cancellation. Cozumel Palace-All Inclusive is the top rated at 9.2 from 103 reviews: a 5-star all-inclusive ocean-view suite at $3,569 for the stay ($510 a night), without free cancellation. Coralia Boutique Hotel Cozumel sits between them at $1,119 ($160 a night). It's a 4-star Deluxe Queen room rated 8.5 from 553 reviews, also without free cancellation. San Miguel (downtown) is the base for dive shops, restaurants and the ferry pier. Divers who want to be closest to the Palancar and Colombia reefs should look at Zona Hotelera Sur.
