Hôtel Escaletto is in the Aix-en-Provence Historic Centre for $242 for the stay ($121 a night), rated 8.1 from 1,796 reviews. It's a modest step up if you want to sleep in the old town, though it has no free cancellation either. Maison Du Collectionneur - Centre Ville is the top rated at 9.3 from 329 reviews, $504 for the stay ($252 a night), also in the historic centre, and it's the only one of the three with free cancellation.
