Ancient Agora Plaka is a Superior Queen Room in Monastiraki, rated 7.8 from 792 reviews, at $310 ($155 a night). It puts you in Plaka / Monastiraki, the old quarter under the Acropolis, with markets and rooftop views right outside. If you want local cafés near the Acropolis Museum, look at Koukaki.
