All three picks are in Tusayan, a mile outside the south entrance with shuttle access, so you don't have to compete for the South Rim (Grand Canyon Village) lodges that sell out early. Red Feather Lodge/Hotel is our best value and the hotel in the total: $1,433 for 7 nights ($205 a night) and 8.8 from 829 reviews. That gets you an Economy Twin Room (Motel), room only, with free cancellation. Grand Canyon Hotel & Suites costs $1,615 ($231 a night), scores 8.4 from 6,057 reviews and includes breakfast, but it has no free cancellation. Holiday Inn Resort Grand Canyon by IHG is the 4-star choice at $2,156 ($308 a night), with 8.2 from 7,744 reviews. It's room only and has no free cancellation. If you want a Route 66 day, Williams is an hour away.
