It sits in the Marina District, and Marina / Cow Hollow is good for boutique inns near the Golden Gate and Crissy Field. Riu Plaza Fisherman's Wharf is the top rated: $3,251 for the stay, about $464 a night, 8.4 from 10,595 reviews, breakfast included. Fisherman's Wharf / North Beach puts you near the waterfront, Alcatraz ferries and Italian cafes. EMBASSY HOTEL is the budget pick at $837, about $120 a night, but it scores 5.9 from 727 reviews and sits in the Tenderloin. All three offer free cancellation.
