Mid-November is a comfortable time to be on your feet: typical highs run 79–83°F with lows near 60°F, good weather for the Giza plateau and Luxor's temples. It's also the main season for Nile cruises between Luxor and Aswan, and you'd go before December and January, the busiest months. Nine nights gives you room for Cairo and a three-night cruise south without rushing either. If you've been putting off Egypt, this fall's numbers make a strong argument for going.
